Open fronted nest boxes provide ideal nesting conditions for species such as Robin, Pied Wagtail and the Spotted Flycatcher whereas the nest box with the 32mm entrance hole is preferred by Great Tit, Nuthatch and Tree Sparrows.
This box can be used in its original form or by removing the two screws which hold the front panel in place it transforms into an open fronted nesting box.
The base has a small gap in so that the birds can easily clean the box out.
